Poulomi Pallav Bose
Poulomi Bose is an artist, art educator, and illustrator who strives to provide others with a taste of the joy and purpose that art has brought to her life. Having previously worked as a literature professor, Poulomi's artistic journey began in Gurgaon when she started painting as a self-taught artist during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, she has hosted several workshops across Delhi-NCR and produced multiple original and print art pieces. Working with a wide range of mediums, she has ensured that each piece in her oeuvre tells a unique story that resonates with the contemporary individual. Several of her pieces depict the internal worlds and external realities of Indian women, describing their daily pleasures, resistances, and subversions. The retelling of mythology and folklore is also a recurrent theme in her work. Poulomi's signature style blends traditional motifs with a modern sensibility, making her work refreshingly eclectic. Further, vivid colors, layered textures, and intricate patterns lend each work an unforgettable richness and complexity.
