Pronoti Singh

Dr Pronoti Singh is a self taught visual artist based in Lucknow. Following a PhD in genetics and a 38yr career in teaching, a gift of acrylic paints reconnected her to an almost forgotten interest in painting. Encouragement by collectors in India and other destinations enhanced the confidence of the artist in her.

Her paintings depict the experience and emotional memory of the places, the rivers, rocks, flowers and islands she met during her journeys. 

The acrylic on canvas artworks are a product of the synthesis of a personal experience, a metaphorical conception of natural processes and a deep love for nature.
